Van joined PlayfairTan in May, 2016 as an Associate.
Van’s role with PlayfairTan is twofold. First, as a trained and registered Chartered Accountant, Van has primary responsibility for managing PlayfairTan’s financial affairs. Second, Van is a dedicated operations resource, with critical implementation responsibilities. In particular, Van leads the ongoing implementation of clients’ fund-related investment decisions. Both roles require a meticulous eye and painstaking precision, making Van the right woman for the job.

Get to know Van
Van’s commencement with PlayfairTan coincided with her return to Sydney (her hometown) following a ten year stint in London, UK. While there, Van held roles within Barclay’s Private Equity and Deutsche Bank’s Product Control teams. No stranger to spontaneous trips away, she made sure to tick most European countries off her bucket list while on the continent.
Van holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and is registered as a Chartered Accountant of Australia.
As a working mum with two young girls, life is far from dull for Van. She still likes nothing more than a spur-of-the-moment adventure and is well known for piling her family into a car and driving to an unknown destination!
